Thermocouple Cable Type S Special Fiberglass Insulation Temperature Resistance 700℃
1. Brief Introduction
Thermocouple compensation cables are used to extend signals from the sensor to instrumentation. Unlike true extension cables, which use the same thermocouple alloys and can be used to make thermocouples, compensation cables are made from cheaper alloys that approximate the thermoelectric properties of extension cables over a limited temperature range. While less accurate and suitable only for ambient temperatures, they offer a cost-effective alternative for signal transmission.
