Round Panel Mount Socket Mini Female Embedded Connector For K Thermocouple

Thermocouple connectors are flat 2 pin TC connectors designed to connect temperature sensor instrumentation and a temperature controller or process control HMI automation panel. Male 2 pole TC plugs and matched female 2 prong TC jack pairs are stock items.

Thermocouple connector is widely used in thermocouple and RTD circuits ,it is best solution for quick and good contact. There are different models on offer for different applications.

This is a round shaped K type thermocouple female panel mount mini connector. The round shaped connector is easier to install than the common rectangular connector because the panel cutout can be drilled by a 5/8'' drill bit, or by a 'D' punch die. The connector is held in place with a screw nut. It is more secure and stable than the spring clip used for holding the rectangular connector.

The connection between the panel jack and controller needs to use the same type of thermocouple wire. You can use the K type thermocouple extension wire.
