Stainless Steel Metal Sheath Electric Cartridge Heaters for 3D Printer

Description:

1) GME manufactures custom made stainless steel sheath electric cartridge heaters for any application. 220v Cartridge heaters are a versatile and economical heat source for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications.

2) Standard tube diameters are 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 16mm, but other special sizes are available for electriccartridge heater 12v. Depending on the diameter, lengths can be supplied up to 3000mm. Standard sheath materials are Stainless Steel 201, 304, 316 and 321, but special sheath materials may be available based on diameter and size of the element required.

3) Electric cartridge heater with metal sheath provide superior heat transfer, uniform temperatures, resistance to oxidation and corrosion and long life even at high temperatures. Flexible lead wire extensions or other mounting options are available for specific applications.

Factors for longer Heater Life:
1) Do not exceed recommended maximum watt density specified for the heater size.
2) The heater sheath must fit properly into the machines hole. A tight fit is critical.
3) Protect the heater from contaminants such as oil, grease, and vaports.
4) Install adequate Kw to accomplish work load and make up for heat losses.
