High Temperature Stainless Steel Right Angel Cartridge Heater with Pure Nickel Conductor Wire are cylindrical electrical heating elements. Protected with a stainless steel sheath (the sheath material also could be others as your design, for example incoloy, titanium, ceramic, ptfe, steel etc.) , their watt density can reach 25 W/cm2 and their operating temperature can go up to 800°C (1472°F).
Cartridge heater is usually used for heating up solids such as injection presses heating plates or various tools, it also can be used for heating up water of gases under certain conditions. Widely used for manufacturing plastic and rubber parts in the car industry or in the food processing industry, etc
It is usually used in heating applications by inserting into metal blocks via a series of drilled holes. Cartridge heaters are manufactured in two basic forms - high density and low density.
